I didn't try the coveted chicken salad, but I loved Basel's Market. My Avocado Toast with Fried Egg was fresh, creamy, crispy, and well-seasoned. And it's a lovely place - even the bathroom is photo-worthy.

$$$ Super cute stop great little country vibe. Like being in your mommas kitchen type atmosphere. Lemon bars are delicious and breakfast sandwiches was yummy. Local products , fresh squeez juice, home made bread, jams and honey. Unique selection of olive oils. Multiple patrons stopped for the chicken salad. We will have to try that on our next visit.

Can't recommend enough! We stopped in for a bite after hiking Tunica. We got The Basil dip, the Rosemary sandwich, and The Basil sandwich and were blown away. Fresh, delicious, fast. And the interior is beyond precious, lovingly curated, the shop has a variety of gift items. Can't wait to come back!

Basel's Market at 5951 Commerce St. is a charming, quaint spot with truly delicious food. I ordered the Chive sandwich, made with ciabatta, fig jam, turkey, ham, pepperoni, lettuce, onion, and provolone, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, with the turkey and ham sliced thin and the flavors perfectly balanced. A fantastic stop if you're in St. Francisville, we had just visited Rosedown.

This place belongs in those movies about small towns - you know the ones. Makes you feel right at home. Kailyn tends to all the details. Incredible food and workspace passing through town. Recommend the chocolate croissant.
